Make timely provisions
Rechtzeitig vorsorgen
Beruhigt in die Zukunft schauen.
Life is stressful enough as it is. In old age, you finally want to have time and money for the finer things in life: take short trips, go on a cruise or maybe just support your grandchildren with a little spending money. The state pension system is no longer of much help to us in these matters. In Austria, one in six people aged 65 and over is at risk of poverty in old age (source: Statistics Austria, 2023). Those who rely solely on the state pension scheme run the risk of having too little in old age. That is why it is important to make provisions in good time so that you can maintain your standard of living.

Mixed price based on the cost-average principle
If you regularly pay in the same amount, you can get a lower average price than with a one-time purchase. The cost-average principle is particularly useful when prices fluctuate widely. When prices are low, you buy more units; when prices are high, you buy fewer.
Please note: The average cost effect diminishes as the term of the investment increases. The accumulated savings then behave more and more as if you had invested the entire amount in a single lump sum. Depending on market developments, a one-time investment may also be more favourable. Investing in securities involves risks as well as opportunities.
Use the effect of compound interest
Your profits are automatically reinvested in the case of reinvesting funds. This means that they can continue to work for you immediately.
Automatic value adjustment
If you wish, your deposits can be automatically increased by a fixed percentage or euro amount each year.
Be aware of the risks
- The value of funds fluctuates depending on the securities they contain.
- Payouts depend on market developments. Capital losses are possible.
- Funds may contain various risks, such as foreign currency, market, issuer or industry risks.
